Margarita

Margarita

Here's a classic recipe for a Margarita cocktail:

Ingredients:

- 2 oz (60 ml) tequila

- 1 oz (30 ml) lime juice (freshly squeezed)

- 1/2 oz (15 ml) triple sec or Cointreau

- Ice cubes

- Salt (for rimming the glass, optional)

- Lime wedge (for garnish, optional)

Instructions:

1. If desired, rim the edge of a glass with salt. To do this, rub a lime wedge around the rim of the glass to moisten it, then dip the rim into a plate of salt to coat it. Set the glass aside.

2. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.

3. Add the tequila, lime juice, and triple sec to the shaker.

4. Shake the ingredients vigorously for about 15-20 seconds to chill the mixture.

5. Strain the Margarita into the prepared glass filled with ice cubes.

6. Optionally, garnish the drink with a lime wedge on the rim of the glass.

7. Serve immediately and enjoy your classic Margarita!

Feel free to adjust the ingredients to suit your taste preferences. You can add more or less lime juice, triple sec, or tequila to achieve the balance of flavors you prefer. Additionally, you can also customize your Margarita by adding flavored liqueurs or fruit purees for variations like strawberry, mango, or pineapple Margaritas. Cheers!
